RESEARCH ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
In accordance with Article 48 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657, the relevant provisions of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, Presidential Decree No. 2 on General Staff and Procedures published in the Official Gazette dated 10/07/2018 and numbered 30474, and the “Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding Central and Entrance Examinations to be Applied in Appointments to Academic Staff Positions Other Than Faculty Members” published in the Official Gazette dated 09/11/2018 and numbered 30590, Research Assistants will be recruited for our University under the relevant articles of these regulations.

Appointments will be made in accordance with Article 50/d of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.
APPLICATIONS
Applications shall be submitted to the relevant Department Chairs of the Faculties or Directors of Institutes.
Required Documents for Application:

Application petition for the announcement,

Photocopy of ID card,
-
Completed and signed “Application Form for Academic Positions” with a photograph (available from the relevant units),

Photocopy of undergraduate and/or graduate diploma,
-
Official transcript (undergraduate),
-
Certificate of enrollment in a thesis-based master’s or doctoral program,
-
Photocopy of ALES score report (valid for five years from the date of announcement),
-
Photocopy of a foreign language exam result (YDS or an equivalent exam accepted as equivalent),
-
For male applicants: a document showing completion, deferment, or exemption from military service.
The “Application Form for Academic Positions” must be downloaded from https://bogazici.edu.tr/tr-TR/Content/Calisanlar/Formlar, completed in full, and submitted in person or by mail to the relevant units. Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Applications sent by mail must reach the relevant units by the application deadline. Postal delays will not be taken into account.
