Lecturer Recruitment Announcement

In accordance with the general provisions stated in Article 48 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657, the Higher Education Law No. 2547, the Presidential Decree No. 2 on General Staff and Procedures published in the Official Gazette dated 10/07/2018 and numbered 30474, and the “Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding Central Examinations and Entrance Examinations for Appointments to Academic Staff Positions Other Than Faculty Members” published in the Official Gazette dated 09/11/2018 and numbered 30590, Boğaziçi University will recruit Lecturers under the conditions outlined below.

Oral Exam Date: 10.02.2025
Written Exam Date: 13.02.2025
(Candidates who score 60 points or higher in the oral exam on 10.02.2025 will be eligible to take the written exam.)

APPLICATIONS

Applications should be submitted to the School of Foreign Languages Directorate.

Required Documents for Application:

  1. Application petition,

  2. A photocopy of the national ID card,

  3. A completed and signed “Academic Position Application Form” with a photo (available from the application unit),

  4. Copies of undergraduate and graduate diplomas,

  5. Official transcript (undergraduate),

  6. Photocopy of the ALES exam result document (valid for 5 years from the announcement date),

  7. Photocopy of a foreign language exam result (YDS or an equivalent internationally recognized exam showing an equivalent score),

  8. For male applicants: document showing military status (discharged, deferred, or exempt),

  9. Document of work experience.
